Cups & Co is our latest project currently in process. The coffee shop will increase and diversify the number of overall trainee places that we currently provide in our shop, church-based café and gardening team as well as extending choices for our young people.

​ALDAG’s supported employment provisions all aim to provide an employment pathway leading to paid work in the community through real work in the young people’s community as well as longer term voluntary employment for some of our young people.

Buddies
We’re looking for buddies who would enjoy befriending a young adult with learning disabilities.
​
Our young adults although they may live in the community they would really value a friend who could visit regularly, usually in the evenings or during the weekend. It can be quite lonely when you are unable to go out on your own.
​
Suggested activities:

Popping round for a chat and a cup of tea

A visit to the cinema
-
Going to the pub for a drink
-
Going out for a pizza or a coffee
-
Accompanying someone to a club
-
Going shopping
-
Joining a small group – going bowling
...and anything else that friends can do together
